I haven't really made a post like this in awhile, but I felt I needed to rant. Have you ever done something that you thought was right but ended up being told you're wrong even though those who have done something wrong have not been told anything? That's happened to me and a few others recently.
I love the community and always have loved the community. I know there are many who support the meaning of Around the Spiral with Edward Lifegem, and that means a lot to me. I've made a lot of mistakes lately which have led me nowhere. I'm in no way saying I'm perfect or everything I do is perfect. I am willing to admit the mistakes I've made in the past and I'm going to move on in a different direction than I have. I'm not moving on for only those who told me I'm wrong. I'm going to do it for the community as a whole.
Today is very different than when I first joined the community! I'm standing up against all forms of bullying. I know it won't be completely wiped from the community, but I want all of you to know that I'm going to stand up for ALL of you. I'm not going to stand up against the people who are bullying, but I will continue to stand up against their actions. I found a way to stand up against their actions..
But, Edward, how? I'm going to continue having these very special events for the community. They are special to me because I know that we can get hundreds from the community on the game to talk with friends and make new friends. That's a community. I also know that everyone will feel welcome to attend. That's a community. I also invite those, who may have said something that they now regret, to attend my events as long as they are nice to others. That is a community. I'm going to work as hard as I can this year to bring everyone together. I would love to have other community leaders to help me as well, or in any way they can to bring awareness of how to handle bullying. I know everyone is busy, but that's my prayer.
I've made mistakes on how to handle bullying, I'm not afraid to admit that. Again, I am only human. :) But, I want all of you to know, even though I've made mistakes, I'm not a bad person. The people who have also made mistakes by saying hurtful things are not bad either, so don't treat them as that. From now on, I want ALL of you to show kindness instead. Show everyone kindness here. We're going to try our best to make everyone feel welcome here. I know not everyone will read this blog post. That's okay. But I want to remind everyone about something I think is an important part of life.

Accept & Respect Others
If you were bullied or all bullied, know that there are many here for you in every way possible. It may not be a popular opinion, but to many of us, it's the world to us. I made my mistake of arguing. But, the way I'm going to deal with it is showing them kindness and how much we don't worry about what they say. They say hurtful things because they're jealous of how awesome you are. I feel bad for them because they are also awesome in their own way. If we are all willing to reach out and make new friends, then, the bullying stops. I'm not only lecturing you, but I'm also lecturing myself. We are going to stick together and continue to have our events. :)
I will be announcing an anti-bullying event later this Summer in honor of those who may no longer be with us and for those who are to know that we are with them. It does make me sad. I act with emotion a lot because a lot of people don't realize what they're saying until it ends in death. We're going to do everything we can to accept everyone here.
